Adnan Januzaj will have a future at Manchester United, according to Jose Mourinho.
He links up with former boss David Moyes at the Stadium of Light as well as Donald Love and Paddy McNair, who signed for the Black Cats earlier this week.
But Mourinho insists he will be back at Old Trafford in the near future.
“Adnan fits into my plans, which is why he's on loan at a Premier League club. We care about him and think he's a talented player,” Mourinho told a press conference on Friday.
“I want to give him all the conditions to develop. Hopefully everything will go well for him because we want him back,” Mourinho added.
